Izenda, L.L.C., is a privately held, Atlanta-based software company. It has been serving medium-sized enterprises in the Atlanta area and the global developer community since 2002. The company uses an Agile software methodology and iterative evolutionary design to deliver high-quality software to customers in financial services, media, biotech, real estate and non-profit sectors. Izenda has successfully invented and sold developer technologies that bring us closer to true Model Driven Architecture with its Simplido and Ad Hoc platforms.

History

Like many great companies, Izenda started with humble beginnings.  The company was founded in a Georgia State University dorm room during one of the most significant downturns in the industry's history.  Using agile methodologies and software components, Izenda started providing sophisticated solutions to government and non-profit customers with tight budgets and uncertain futures.  As the economy recovered, Izenda was perfectly positioned for aggressive growth with its lean structure and flexible platform and started delivering browser based business intelligence tools for medium-sized customers.  After frustrations with dealing with leading reporting solutions, Izenda made a big bet that changed the company.  In 2004, Izenda started developing the world's first web-based reporting solution that used AJAX to deliver a highly responsive user experience.  After dozens of successful deployments, the company decided to launch its Reports platform to the world in 2006.  Izenda is now working on several enhancements, complementary products and higher levels of integration.
